A tiresome story line of a girl possessed by a demon remains tiresome throughout this film. It is criminally unoriginal and not scary.
There was no back story on Hannah and the film displayed lazy writing with the 'three months later'. The dad asks why the Megan was still alive and the writers never explains this.
The Possession of Hannah Grace is about an exorcism that gets out of control and claims the life of a young girl. Months later, while working the night shift at a hospital morgue, Megan Reed receives a disfigured corpse and she starts experiencing terrifying visions, she later suspects that the body is possessed by an evil entity.
With an attempted at a creepy atmosphere I was restraining myself from falling asleep because nothing really happens in the movie, the narrative is non-existent, there are no suspenseful scenes, build ups or jump scares. I wish I put on The Exorcist.
